Natur Beef's Tasting Notes from 2015 to 2019/20. Our unique Natur Beef flavours come from our natural and wild veld grasses on our unique terroir at Kalbaskraal, where fynbos adds complexity. Natur flavours differ from harvest to harvest.
Out at Natur at Jartaskraal near Malmesbury we're focussed on flavour in our Angus cross Wagyu cattle. Unlike Japan where diner have a sophisticated (there are more 3 star Michelin Restuarants in Japan than in France) visual requirement for marbling (optimised in Wagyu ) marbling is not our aim on Jartaskraal. Here we approach our cattle like wine.
